Work continues on Dark Dwelling--we're just waiting on those new art pieces and one of the new encounters before Randy can get to work laying out everything and making it all pretty for you!

Well, we made it to the end! And you didn't disappoint. Thanks to your support we get to make this adventure truly special. We have the bonus encounter created by Stefan Surratt. Let me tell you, he is bringing an extra level of creepiness to this adventure. We'll also be reaching out to one of our favorite artists, Christopher Torres, to help us bring the sinister Sagebrush gang to life. And speaking of the Sagebrush gang, emails have gone out to the backers that get to name the members of the gang. We are looking forward to seeing what kind of interesting villains you come up with. And last, but certainly not least, you brought us over that final stretch goal to bring the creator of Weird Frontiers, David Baity, on board to write an encounter as well. Look for future updates as we learn more about what he has in store for us.  

Never content to rest, we continue to plug away at projects. The third and final(?) installment of our From Out of Gnollwhere series, Gnoll Man's Land, will be going to crowdfunding in May. And, of course, work continues on our horror RPG, Horror Cinema Classics, continues to be developed and will go to crowdfunding in September of this year.

Well, you folks did it. You done poked the bear--and now, we get another glimpse into the dark, twisted mind of The Dark Marshal, He Who SHALL Be Named, David Baity!

We cruised through the last stretch goal--and now we got not only an extra encounter by Stefan Surratt, not only swanky art from Christopher Torres, but ALSO an all-new bonus encounter from David Freaking Baity Hisownself!!!

Oh, and there's less than a day left--we close  tomorrow at 2pm Central, so if any of you were hedging while scaring up some scratch after backing certain other worthy projects, time to get moving! Hop to it, and get your friends and neighbors on the train as well. Let's close this one out with a bang!!!

You all crushed the $2000 goal, so we'll now be adding some sweet new Christopher Torres art of the ill-fated Sagebrush gang, a group of illest repute by a pencilman of the greatest!

And now--with a scant four days remaining--we're within sneezing distance of a special guest bonus encounter by none other than the Dark Marshal himself, David Baity! Barely over $200 separates us from seeing what that unfathomable, demented mind (have you read Carnival of the Damned?!?) has in store for us. And bear in mind, while adding Dark Dwelling on the Prairie to your shelf, you should feel most welcome to peruse Wayward Studios' other fine offerings (and thus bring us closer to that last strech goal), such as:

The Wayward Gazette, a collection of class and rules errata, a few new classes and a book of one- to two-page adventures all for the Weird Frontiers rule set (you could even use one of the spiffy new classes while playing Dark Dwelling!).

From Out of Gnollwhere Book 2: Gnolledge is Power, a 3rd level DCC advenuture and sequel to From Out of Gnollwhere, exploring the ancient Auld itself and the mystery of its sudden darkness as well as further investigation of the gnolls' evil plot!

So put on your chaps, gather up yer posse, take yerselves a gander and toss a coin or two. Four days left bring us on home, and appease the Dark Marshal!!!

Ok, I know we've gone from no updates at all to a pile of them this week and we apologize for the barrage, but this one couldn't wait. We've already achieved one spectacular stretch goal--a mind-twisting guest encounter written by Stefan Surratt. Now, though, we done roped the biggest outlaw of 'em all: The Dark Marshal himself, David Baity, has pledged to write a bonus encounter for Dark Dwelling on the Prairie if we can get to $2300 (a mere $400 and change away)!

Yes, that David Baity--you know, the guy who freaking wrote WEIRD FRONTIERS!!!

You might have heard of him.

Yeah, we're kind of excited. And we hope you are, too--at least, excited enough to boost us up to that $2300 plateau! We've got a week left to rassle up that extra coin--so hop to it, cowpokes! Go door to door if'n you have to, but let's make this happen!!!
